my 2020 overview ~ 31st December 2020

2020 has been a year with so many ups and downs, especially with COVID-19 and the safety measures. Almost half of the year (or maybe more than that) we were all at home because of the circuit breaker that lasted from April to September.. i think.. It was a pretty hard time for all of us but during this circuit breaker period I managed to do some meaningful things and learn new things as well! Here are some things I am really thankful for this year.

1. Psalm 118:8 “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.” 
2. I learnt new recipes for making home-made pizza as well as cookies and Portuguese egg tarts (which are really yummy 🙂 )!
3. Thankfully by God’s grace, I finished Grade 10 this year – it was pretty tough though. I’m excited for Grade 11 next year! One year older – I’ll be 17 years old next year! That’s so fast! LOLZ.
4. I wrote so many letters to many best penpal during the circuit breaker period as well as now hahahaha!! At least we still keep in touch!
5. I journaled every week to keep me from boredom, but it was good to see how much blessings there are in 2020 despite the pandemic. Journaling is really fun and enjoyable! Hope to continue my journal through 2021!!
6. I am glad I had taken the two FEBC online courses on Ecclesiastes and Harmony of the Gospels. I learnt many new lessons from the courses and hope to learn more in the future courses.
7. Thankful that I have reaffirmed my faith on the 20th of December 2020. God is good! ♡
8. After the circuit breaker measures were eased, everything gradually went back to normal, and I’m really happy that now we are in already Phase 3 which means that most activities can resume and we can meet in groups of 8 for now! Grateful that we are able to worship God every Sunday in church as well as fellowship groups!
9. This blog here got 5000++ views in just a year! Really great stats this year! thankuuu ☺️

11. Today being the last day of December 2020, there’s so many things to be thankful for, but I’ll end here! What are you thankful about 2020?

I hereby end this post – the last post for the year 2020. It’s a wrap! See you all next year (Yep! In 2021)! To summarise 2020, I’m just immensely thankful for how the Lord has been with us and seen us through this whole year! 🙂 All glory be unto God!
