It’s been awhile since I posted ~ I have been pretty busy with school lately.. Term 4 is starting next week and there are tests to be completed this week. Why do I find that the end of there year is always so hectic and busy?

Last Monday, we visited the National Orchid Garden of Singapore, located on the highest hill in the Singapore Botanic Gardens. In the National Orchid Garden, there are over 1,000 species and 2,000 hybrids, with about 600 species and hybrids on display. (really pretty ones!) It’s the world’s largest display of tropical orchid collections!! You will never want to miss this!

Little facts about the orchids displayed there:

• “spring” zone with its prevailing colours of bright and lively shades of gold, yellow and creams
• “summer” zone with its major tones of strong reds and pinks
• “autumn” zone of matured shades
• “winter” zone of whites and cool violet shades

We started our walk around 2 p.m. and walked until 6+ p.m. – it closes at 7 p.m. We took our time walking and admiring God’s marvellous handiworks and taking lots and lots of pictures! It was a walk worth it – a field trip that really was so interesting and beautiful. Thank God for the good weather although it did rain quite heavily for a while.. but the rain made the orchids and plants really pretty, especially for photos! :))

You know what? If you are in Singapore, or wishing to visit Singapore some day, you must definitely find a day to visit the National Orchid Garden here. It’s really quiet and hardly anyone goes. It is a must. haha.

I love these photos of the orchids as well as the scenery view from the hill. It is just so beautiful – God’s wonderful creation! 😍

These are just some of the most pretty photos out of the hundreds we took throughout the day. I especially love the first one which I took of the the heavy rain! 🌧 😀 These photos were taken using my phone, iPhone 6s plus. Nope, not any professional camera!
