🇸🇬 9th August, 2021 marks the 56th year of Singapore’s independence. The ceremonial parade (the National Day Parade-NDP) was held at the Float this year in the morning. My mother, my youngest brother and I walked to the Henderson Waves to catch the fly past of the Singapore flag! It was a walk worth it! 🙂 #NDP2021 The real parade will happen on the 21st of August – which is tomorrow!!! #happybirthdaysingapore

One of my church’s ministry – The Gethsemane Care Ministry, had it’s 16th anniversary! We had the thanksgiving service today! Thank God for seeing this ministry of my church until this day! Got my second dose of the Covid-19 Pfizer vaccination. Had a sore arm at night… pain… 🥲 I managed to journal; updated my journal pages and YouTube channel cover. Played some games too XD

Felt some chest pain before and during dinner time… but then it went away after awhile.

To the topic of “something happened”…
I was having a virtual youth choir practice of my church when I suddenly felt a really bad chest pain, breathlessness, and giddiness. I stopped singing and went to find my parents and told them. My parents thought it better to call the ambulance because I just had my 2nd dose of the COVID-19 vaccination on Saturday, and the symptoms I was having were of those that required medical attention. Meanwhile, I used an oximeter to check my oxygen level. It was okay, but it kept saying something like “Suspected occasional short pulse interval,” “Suspected short and fast pulse interval,” and something like irregular heartbeat/pulse. Around 10 minutes later, the paramedics came and took me to the A&E of the Singapore General Hospital. It was around 9++p.m. .
There at the A&E, I saw the doctor who took my blood from both my arms for testing.. Then I went for an X-ray on my chest. The doctor wanted to check if I had a heart attack.. Ohh,, they also gave me an injection to help subside the giddiness I was having.
After waiting there for a long while, I managed to go home at around 3 a.m. of 17th August. A long night in the A&E was so tiring and scary?!…. The doctor only told me to monitor and come back to to see the cardiologist at the end of the month. The blood test came back normal except that (the strangest thing) my hemoglobin level is low – like the normal level for women is 12-15, but mine is like 10.5? Anyways,, thank God for seeing me through that night and watching over me. ☺️ Am really thankful to God that it is nothing too serious.
It’s most likely post vaccination side effects.. yeah..

I still have been experiencing occasional chest pains and breathlessness everyday of this whole week. Even now when I am typing this post, I am feeling chest pain and breathlessness… 😢 Praying that this won’t be a permanent thing and it will not turn into a serious thing. I hope it will go away soon! 😦
