Once people thronged the malls and parks,
Noisy chattering everywhere.
Beautifully painted faces exhibited,
Good-looking sculpted faces displayed.
All of a sudden, everything changed.

What was perceived as a minute innocuous virus,
Which would do no harm,
Shockingly Claimed the lives of many.

Now many places are bare,
Hushed whispers surround .
Silent trains and bus rides- the new normal.

Pretty, good-looking faces now hidden from view,
Sharp distinct features all covered up.
Anxiety now grips everyone’s heart, not only fearing the deadly snare itself but also worried to be fined and charged if seen not wearing the appropriate protection

Who would have thought-
That such a seemingly tame submicroscopic agent,
Could conquer the strong fit bodies of many and change human’s big plans and ruin many thriving endeavours ?

Albeit all the changing scenes of life, we are certain that there’s a Great God who is ever the same, unchanging and powerful in His Wisdom and Might.

The God of the past, present and future knows that all these will come. Nothing escapes His unfathomable knowledge and no human mind can ever comprehend Him.
What is that man can do ?
The happenings of this present world are beyond man’s control, man can only submit and bow low under the Mighty Hand of God.

O God our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come.
A shelter from the stormy blast,
And our eternal home.
