15 March 2020 ~ I turned sixteen today… Life now is tough… Sweet 16? Yes, I finally turned sixteen today! This year, my birthday turned out to be on a Sunday. I am glad that today is a day I could go to church as well as have my birthday. Birthdays for me nowadays aren’t eventful as it was in the past. I’m getting older everyday, every second. No more birthday cakes, parties, or presents and gifts. But I’m am so happy to have so many church friends who still remember my birthday and wishe me!! That cheers me up!! 😉 Sometimes it is just to good to have so many friends who care for you.
Psalms 121 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”
Life is so precious, so dear. It was so sad to read the above article about a 16 year old who died os the coronavirus. I just turned 16 not long ago… “Only one life t’will soon be past…” May we live our lives on earth as it were our last day.
So… I turned sixteen during this world pandamic? Wow! Wait, maybe not so much of a ‘wow’ but I thankful for how God as kept me in good health all these 16 years of my life. Am so very thankful to have found Christ as my Savior at a very young age, and still today I know He is watching over my every step of the way.
